Peak Pharmaceuticals Expands Distribution of Canna-Pet™ to Amazon

Peak Pharmaceuticals Inc. [stockquote symbol=PKPH], developer of over-the-counter cannabinoid products for animals, recently announced that it expanded distribution to include Amazon Services LLC and plans to launch a newly formulated dog treat to expand its popular Canna-Biscuit product line-up. Management hopes that the new sales channel will become an important revenue driver over time.
“We believe this additional and very important sales channel can offer significant impetus for growth,” said Peak Pharmaceuticals Inc. CEO Dr. Soren Mogelsvang. “Of course, we are working on a number of marketing strategies to ensure we maximize the potential of this new opportunity. Among these strategies is the launch of new products, and our new MaxCBD Canna-Biscuit category will be an industry leading test of consumer interest in serving size and ease of use.”
The company is initially featuring the Canna-Pet Capsules on Amazon, and plans to subsequently offer Canna-Biscuit dog treats and other products. All of these products will be made available as a part of Amazon Prime, which provides free shipping and other advantages to Amazon members. With Amazon’s significant reach and customer trust, the company could see significant sales through the channel.
In addition to the new distribution, the company’s upcoming release of MaxCBD Canna-Biscuits for dogs promises to provide up to six times more CBD than the standard Canna-Biscuit product line. The product will initially come in the popular Maple Bacon flavor and will include a “golden ratio” of additional cannabinoids and terpenes for maximum potency without any psychoactivity.
